Grey Solan

Grey Solan is set on the connection bridge between the lake walk and old downtown overlooking the Greysolon Plaza. Solan refers to the Solan de Paris, the official art exhibition of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. I painted this when I first started to experiment with color. Grey is the realization that everything is Grey. I realized that every color you mix will eventually turn grey. As I painted I understood that grey applies to more than just paint. Grey Solon represents displaying grey to the world, no matter the shade of your pigmentation.
