Boardwalk is the second dark blue property in Monopoly. It is the most valuable property on the board inspired by the Atlantic City Boardwalk in New Jersey. During the creation of this piece the Lakewalk in Duluth was under construction installing a boardwalk much like the one in New Jersey. A long stretch of wooden planks and concrete to conquer the sand and rocks, all leading up to the iconic Duluth North Pier Lighthouse.
